VERONICA BEARD: MADISON AVE

Veronica Beard approached us to create their first retail store, to build off the success of their previous pop-ups and solidify their standing with a location on Madison Avenue. In keeping with their eclectic but comfortable aesthetic, they wanted a residential architect to take on the project and infuse the space with an apartment-like friendliness that sparser, gallery-style retail spaces lack. Our experience in both spheres gave us a unique advantage in understanding the project's needs.

Originally, the brand was considering two other spaces on Madison. We advised them to take this site at the corner of 77th Street, believing that the corner real estate across from The Mark and Vera Wang would give them better exposure than the other options. This location continues to serve them well six years later.

Completed in 2016
